The Tragedy

Our beloved Ed was killed on Wednesday evening, July 30, 2003, while riding his new Harley Davidson motorcycle on SW 34 St, Gainesville, FL (he had this Harley only 2 weeks, but had been riding his whole life). He accidentally rode into the back of a dump truck. No one else was involved and he was killed instantly. He was 37 years old.

News about the accident.

Donations

Ed owned a 120 pound Rhodesian Ridgeback named Kepler that he loved more than anything. He would have really appreciated donations made to assist them.

Their information can be found at www.ridgebackrescue.org. If you look under "Donate Now", you can see how to donate on behalf of someone.

Kepler was named after the famous astronomer/mathematician. This is a mission being done by NASA. Ed said that he had submitted the idea to call it the Kepler Mission (http://www.kepler.arc.nasa.gov/). He loved astronomy and math and was very proud that they were using the name Kepler.
